Written July 2018. Stolie invited her 78-year-old dad to join her on the drive down from Chicago to a gig in Champaign, IL. He loves to play drumbeats on the dashboard, and the rest of the lyrics were inspired by their afternoon together. He is the eternal optimist, and Stolie will always credit her corny sense of humor to her dad.

Talking ‘bout the hassles of packing up the house
and moving out by the end of the week

Dad says, “Let’s change the subject,
I don’t wanna talk about that.”

to try to bring him back…
